Project Manager – Hardware Engineering
Project Managers are the primary keepers and managers of the project schedules for our hardware and software teams. You will manage tech feature development, integrations and project timelines from a technical perspective through the project lifecycle, developing project plans, schedules, delivery estimates, resource plans and status reports. If any process bottlenecks in the product development pipeline emerges, you will be responsible for identifying solutions and preventing future bottlenecks. You will guide the engineering team, including external vendors, through the profiling and analysis of projects to identify and plan for services and solutions that must be provided.
At least 5 years of demonstrated success as a Project Manager, showing a track record of delivering projects under budget and on schedule.
Practical experience with Agile methodologies.
Must have knowledge of industry best practices for project management, software engineering and business processes, such as: SCRUM, Project Management Institute methodology (PMI’s PMBOK), Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), or Information Technology Information Library (ITIL).
Working knowledge of JIRA, PSA tools, or other similar Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tools.
Ability to analyze business requirements and translate those into services or solutions and develop associated plans for delivery.
Experience working in a product team.
2-3 years of experience in game development as a Producer, Agile Coach, SCRUM Master, Project Manager, or Development Manager, and have worked with or led a team through a full product cycle. Or similar in hardware systems lifecycle management.
Computer science / ME / or EE knowledge adequate to understand and communicate interactions among complex systems in business terms.
Some knowledge of coding or authoring 3D artwork.
Extensive experience working as a government contractor on various software and/or hardware projects.

The Hardware Technology team at Red 6 engineers high performing and highly advanced augmented reality platforms and infrastructure, which support our military partners’ training and operations.
The goal of the Research department is to understand and develop how the multiverse works. Embedded within the Research department is a talented team that builds the tools that allow us to conduct R&D with a unique understanding of bleeding edge technologies. These tools tackle problems from data ingestion and storage, to data visualization and advanced communications networks. In order to achieve this goal, we require a first-rate development ecosystem. As such, we’re investing in building an AR-specific engineering team.
